CLEVELAND — An Ohio-native Coast Guardsman assigned to the Coast Guard Cutter Diligence was involved in vessel boardings that netted seizures of nearly 3,000 pounds of cocaine last month, during the ship's patrol to the Caribbean Sea, the 7th Coast Guard District announced Monday.

Ens. James Heuser, originally from Centerville, Ohio, is first lieutenant aboard Diligence and one of the ship's boarding officers during vessel boardings and other law enforcement operations.
