Bristol Bay Buoy Ops
DETROIT - Seaman Justin H. Baine stood by with a tool called the happy hooker, which is designed to hook onto a buoy as the Coast Guard Cutter Bristol Bay moved alongside the buoy in western Lake Erie, Nov. 12, 2007. Seaman Apprentice David A. Deere was there to assist Baine as they connect the buoy to the crane using the gear on the deck between them that pulled the buoy on the deck.
