07-06-08 USCG LOCATES DEBRIS FIELD, INVESTIGATES_2
LORAIN, Ohio - A crewmember of a U.S. Coast Guard Station Lorain 41-foot utility boat recovers a trash bag from Lake Erie on July 6, 2008. A concern citizen alerted the Coast Guard of the floating debris. The Coast Guard is conducting an investigation to determine the source of approximately 30 bags of garbage that was recovered.
