COAST GUARD RESCUES THREE DIVERS IN MACKINAC STRAIGHTS ST. IGNACE, Mich. -- The Coast Guard rescued three divers at approximately 10:20 a.m. in the Mackinac Straights today. A Coast Guard Station St. Ignace 25-foot response boat was launched to assist three divers after their dive platform boat had drifted away from them due to maintenance problems. The Coast Guard crew took the divers on board and transported them to Station St. Ignace. There was no report of injuries.
