COAST GUARD RESPONDS TO TRUCK DRIVEN INTO WATER MILWAUKEE - Coast Guard Sector Lake Michigan and Station Milwaukee responded to the report of a vehicle being driven into the water on South Carferry Drive in Milwaukee. The Coast Guard received the report from the Milwaukee Police Department at 1:43 p.m. Coast Guard Station Milwaukee responded with two small boats, a 41-foot utility boat and a 25-foot response boat. A pollution investigator from Sector Lake Michigan is also on scene and has confirmed there is no pollution at this time. Milwaukee Police Department and Milwaukee Fire Department also responded with dive teams; the dive team recovered one person from the truck and transferred him to awaiting Emergency Medical Services.
