MARINETTE, WISC.- The Coast Guard Cutter Alder hits the frozen waters of the Menomenee River for the first time. Alder is the last of the 16, 225-foot buoy tending class ship to be built. The cutter was launched on Feb. 7, 2004 and will be homeported in Duluth, Minn. Photo courtesy Marinette Marine
