Coast Guard medically evacuates woman with abdominal pains MACKINAW ISLAND, Mich. - U.S. Coast Guard Station St. Ignace medically evacuated a 44-year-old female with abdominal pains from the harbor on Macinaw Island Sunday at approximately 12:30 a.m. A 47-foot motor lifeboat (MLB) crew transported her safely to awaiting Emergency Medical Services at the station. "She was stable and talking; they had her in a gurney ready to go," said Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Katharine Quick, 47-footer coxswain. EMS delivered her to Petoskey Hospital.
