Retired Coast Guard Master Chief receives President's Award The NASBLA recognized Frank Jennings, Recreational Boating Specialist for the Ninth Coast Guard District in Cleveland, for his work in organizing and co-hosting the Lake Erie Marine Law Enforcement Symposium.
Jennings organized and co-hosted the annual bi-national law enforcement symposium, which is recognized among the U.S. and Canadian law enforcement agencies in the Lake Erie basin as the premier regional marine law enforcement conference of the year. In addition, "For more than 13 years, Frank Jennings has not only been a consummate professional as the Ninth District's Recreational Boating Safety Specialist, but he has been a sterling example and steadfast advocate for the reserve enlisted force as the Reserve Command Master Chief," said Capt. Jeff Ogden, Ninth Coast Guard District Response Chief. "I congratulate him on the well deserved recognition." The NASBLA is a national nonprofit organization that works to develop public policy for recreational boating safety.
