OPERATION BRIDGE OUT MEDIA BRIEFING SAULT STE MARIE, Mich - Coast Guard Marine Safety Office Sault Ste. Marie will host a media briefing for Operation Bridge Out May 3, 2005 at 1:00 pm. Operation Bridge Out is a multi-agency / bi-national exercise that will take place between Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The operation will start May 9 and continue through the afternoon of May 11. The exercise is designed to challenge agencies on both sides of the border to react to a national, state, and/or local emergency. Canadian, US Federal, State and local agencies will participate in Operation Bridge Out. The Coast Guard will provide an overview of Operation Bridge Out to media attendees. The presentation will consist of a Power Point Presentation titled Bridge Out Time Line, immediately followed by a question and answer session.
