SWANSON, Ohio (June 22) – Cadet 1st Class Aaron Leyko is carried out of the mock ship on a stretcher during training. In this instance, Leyko was simulating being a man down during a fire to teach the crewmembers what they would do if something such as loosing a man. The crew of the Katmai Bay spent three days here learning how to battle fires and the importance of the protective clothing they don for such an incident. Coast Guard photo by PA3 Allyson E.
