Mackinaw Crew Measures Ice Thickness

WHITEFISH BAY, Mich. (Mar. 14, 2007) -- The cutter Mackinaw (WLBB-30) conducted ice trials in 24-inch thick ice along the St. Marys and Neebish Rivers to Whitefish Bay March 14 after a period of three weeks testing the ship's capabilities.
